We have visits from the Lapwings... they are amazing birds with a very striking appearance: black and white plumage, iridescent green back, and its black crest.
I have been trying to film them in flight for days... to no avail, I will keep trying!

Green Heron at the Lost Gardens of Heligan

A special visitor
We are really excited to find our Terracotta Bird house occupied for a third year...
Do not despair if your bird house is not used straight away, it can take a while for birds to find a new nest site, but when they do they often return annually.
